Day 16 in Altenberg,
Dear diary,
It has been over 2 weeks now since I came to being in Altenberg. I have done and run many errands, tasks and missions for various people here with the order of Light, but now face a great challenge in the guise of a demon found somewhere near the great city of Lynn. Even though I have come far in experience over the spent time here, I still have a feeling of dread and fear going into this monsters lair. I met some one, named DOCTOR, who was willing to help but haven't heared from him for some time now. I think I will seek him out and invite him to join me in slaying this foul beast.
Another thing that bothers me, I have only met 3 or 4 persons like me so far... Sure, there are plenty townsfolk and guards and priests and merchants, but not those with an adventurous heart like mine..
I wrote to all my hometown friends to come and join me here but so far none replied. This troubles me and leads me to think the Light has somehow bestowed the outcome of this war between us and the Dark Moon (MAY THEY BE CURSED FOREVER!!!) on a few brave adventurers. It makes me wonder what the authorities do about recruiting more able bodies...
That's all for now, dear diary, I hope next time I will have some good news to write about.
